U.N. Ambassador Power in Central African Republic in bid to avert humanitarian crisis
BANGUI, Central African Republic — U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power landed Thursday in this war-scorched nation and said the U.S. would provide a military liaison presence to assist African Union forces amid deepening worries about an escalating humanitarian crisis.
