Sinosphere Blog: Electrical Problem Blamed in Shangri-La Fire
The blaze in the Chinese province of Yunnan, in an area said to be the inspiration for the novel “Lost Horizon,” badly damaged or destroyed 343 structures and left about 2,600 people homeless, the local government said.
